  • Your data never leaves your device - All assessment responses, progress tracking, and preferences are stored only in your browser
  • No server-side storage - We do not have servers that collect or store your personal data
  • No accounts required - You can use all features without creating an account or providing personal information
  • You control your data - You can clear all stored data at any time (see below)

AI Career Advisor

When you use the AI Career Advisor chat feature:

  • Your questions are sent to our secure API for processing
  • We do not log or store your questions or the AI responses
  • The AI service processes your request and returns a response immediately
  • No conversation data is retained on our servers after the response is delivered
  • Rate limiting uses only your IP address (not tied to any personal data) with a 2-minute expiration

Data Sources for Salary & Market Information

The AI Career Advisor retrieves real-time information from publicly available sources:

  • Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) - Official U.S. government salary data
  • CyberSeek - NIST-funded cybersecurity career resource
  • Official certification bodies - CompTIA, ISC2, ISACA, GIAC, EC-Council
  • Job platforms - Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed (with date stamps)

All factual claims include citations with source URLs so you can verify the information.

Cookies & Tracking

Career Launchpad does not use cookies for tracking purposes. We do not:

  • Use advertising cookies or trackers
  • Share data with third-party advertisers
  • Track your browsing behavior across sites
  • Create user profiles for marketing

We may use Cloudflare's analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, general geographic regions). This data is anonymized and cannot identify individual users.
